2025 Climb for the Cure Recap: Two Routes, a Corporate Cup and 128 Riders

June 21, 2025

Year two came with a bigger field and a bigger format. On June 21, 2025, 128 riders took on Climb for the Cure, up more than 50% from the first year.

What was new

We split the race into two routes. The 50.5-mile A-Route kept the full climb toward Mt. Spokane, with 6,422 feet of elevation gain. The new 22.2-mile B-Route opened the race to riders who wanted something shorter but still challenging. We also added a pedal-assist class for e-bikes and launched the first Corporate Cup, which brought five company teams onto the course to race for a trophy and bragging rights.

Results

  • Fastest on the A-Route: Cal Skilsky, 3:00:33
  • Fastest on the B-Route: Craig Martin, 1:30:01
  • Corporate Cup champions: R&D Dept: Cat 6

Registrations raised $15,207 for The Wendy Fund, every dollar directed to research into Richter's Syndrome and related blood cancers.
