2026 Climb for the Cure Recap: 171 Riders and Our Biggest Year Yet

June 14, 2026

On June 14, 2026, Climb for the Cure had its biggest year yet: 171 riders, more than double the first year's field.

Riders took on the 50.5-mile A-Route, with 6,422 feet of climbing toward Mt. Spokane, or the 22.2-mile B-Route. Sixteen company teams raced in the Corporate Cup across both routes, and pedal-assist riders had their own class.

Results

  • Fastest on the A-Route: Allan Schroeder, 2:43:33, almost 17 minutes faster than the 2025 winning time
  • Fastest on the B-Route: Alex Popescu, 1:16:20
  • Fastest pedal-assist rider: Gina Yaritz, 1:12:26 on the B-Route
  • Corporate Cup champions: McKinstry (A-Route) and MW/Integrus (B-Route)

Registrations raised $22,475 for The Wendy Fund, our best year so far. Every dollar is directed to research into Richter's Syndrome and related blood cancers.
